could not find kernel image: linux
when i try to boot
i get could not find kernel image: linux i redownlod iso but error still remain distro NavynOS 2005.1 any one can tell how can i fix it |
NavynOS is not developed since 2005. Your issues may come from using such an outdated distro. Try a recent one and see if it works.

Current hardware vs. old distro problem, probably. It can happen that an old kernel won't find the device where /boot lives, in your case this is probably due to newer chipset (newer than 2005, not hard to find nowadays) or due to a SATA controller that your kernel from 6 years ago can't handle.

so how can i upgrade the kernel

Do you get this error when booting the ISO (from a cdrom or whatever) or do you get this error when booting your distro after having installed it to your hard drive?
