there used to be some diagrams and photos, all with anotations, but sony got a bit funny about them bieng freely available on the web. Its a case of knowing the address or the people , because its unlikely thats a site on a search engine will be up for more than a little while because sony will find and kick up a stink.

Ill ask my father, find out if he knows any addresses or has any diagrams, as he used to chip (for forgien and... err, *cough cough*copied*splutter cough cough* games) and also fix playstations and later psones as part of his liveing.

it was SONY who orginally supplied the chips for the play station in my belive then they stoped this after there profits drops

Got any working CD carriages? I seem to just be butchering all those I'm going into for some unknown reason. :cry: My "base unit" works, but doesn't read the "blue Playstation disks". How much is it?

I have the entire ps except for the bottom part of the case *never use carb cleaner to clear excess paint* whatever you want i'll give to you for whatever it costs to ship (I do take donations though;) if you wanna do so you can pay the shipping via paypal.....

I should also add that I'm not positive if the stuff works anymore. It work last time i tried but that was months ago BEFORE we moved. But like i said, i was playing grand toruismo on it months ago....
