In the meantime, I have got a new job, so at present for me nothing more left to discuss in this thread. But if you wish, this thread can be continued without marking it as solved.

Then you should have said that. Unfortunately threads in the General forum can't be marked "solved".

You are there to impress the person interviewing you. If you go in with the attitude I am a rebel and me comes first. You will not get the position. You need to dress for the position and the company. Get a hair cut and go there dressed to impress. Your hair will grow back. You have to ask yourself what is more important. Your hair and self importance(lacking a word there) or obtaining a job you really want?

Almost forgot. Sometimes it just boils down to personality and how you fit in with the team you will be working with. Just keep on trying and learn from your mistakes or failures. Everyone fails, what matters is how you react.
