wifi icon is not refreshed after login page

I have a small glitch.
In fresh installed Fedora 24, if I start my computer, GDM's login page shows Wifi icon and connect to my network. Then I login and that Wifi icon disappears on Gnome-shell's top bar. But I have connection and I can use internet.

If I turn off and on my Wifi, that Wifi icon would appear back.

What is that? How can I fix it?

I'm running Fedora Rawhide Mate, if that matters. Since the introduction of Network Manager, the networking icon has always appeared in the panel of whatever desktop I've used when nm-applet is run. Perhaps, for some reason, Gnome isn't running nm-applet at session startup. Easy enough to check
Code:
~$ ps x | grep nm-applet
 1407 ? Sl 0:01 nm-applet
 3725 pts/0 S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto nm-applet

I check this when the system connected to my wifi and no wifi icon on top-bar of gnome-shell

Code:
[msh@localhost ~]$ ps x | grep nm-applet
 2460 pts/0 S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto nm-applet
It seems nm-applet is running.
But no wifi icon on top bar.

Actually, it shows nm-applet is not running. Note the line in my output with pid 1407. You should be able to press Alt-F2 to bring up the run dialog (I assume Gnome still lets you do that) and then enter nm-applet as the program to run. Press the run button, and you should be good to go.
