I am talking about on the console screen with out x running. If I leave it on for a while it stops outputing to the display untill I move the mouse or press a key or something. I want to disable that

masand 01-28-2005 03:52 PM

that is the screensaver

if u r using kde,

right click---choose configure desktop-->screen saver

then either disable the screensaver or increase the idle time limit
