display auto-shut off


In fedora core 3 how do I stop the display from going blank if it sits idle for to long?

are u talking about screen saver??

also u can check the power management system in control centre from ur kde settings menu

I am talking about on the console screen with out x running. If I leave it on for a while it stops outputing to the display untill I move the mouse or press a key or something. I want to disable that

that is the screensaver

if u r using kde,

right click---choose configure desktop-->screen saver

then either disable the screensaver or increase the idle time limit

which desktop are u using??

or are u in text mode??

What do you have then? FC3 uses gnome as a defualt.
