Lightbulb run exe file


Hi
I have a exe file of C++ that I wrote it on codeblocks and save it as a exe file that I want to run it on boot.
please help me.

how did you do that (I mean how did you really/exactly created that exe file)? Why do you want it to run during boot?

If it's really a .exe file, it won't run on Linux. That's a Windows executable. You need to recompile it for Linux.

It might be useful to indicate what the purpose of the file is as there may be another method of accomplishing the same thing. You can run an exe file through the wine program but that would make for a convoluted operation for something you want to run on boot and I would have no idea how to do that or if it could be done.

rebuild the c++ source using the LINUX compiler gcc

you might have to edit it to remove any Microsoft ONLY!!! calls
