Debian repository site?

Hi: I have got disk 1 of Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 (Built date= 20070407-11:55; d-i 20070308) and I'd like to have the whole original disk set. Does somebody know where to get it?

As another question, given a version, say 4.0, which is the most stable revision, the first one (r0) or the last one? By stable I mean, maybe incorrectly, the one with less bugs.

They will all have about the same amount of bugs, as bugfixes are generally not applied to stable packages - only security updates.
The later ones have security updates from the earlier ones (although they are all hopelessly out of date now and should NOT be used with any form of Internet connection).

Version 4 is incredibly old and will likely cause many problems with current software. The current stable version (called Wheezy) is version 7.4. If your computer is for personal use there's no reason to use stable. I'd recommend Testing (called Jessie) which rarely has serious problems and when it does they are usually fixed quite promptly.

You can find everything you need for every type of installation here: https://www.debian.org/distrib/
