Post User rpm command with Socks proxy.

Hello.
Can I use "rpm" command with socks proxy? according to man page it has "httpproxy" option but how about socks?

based on the man page, no.
But actually you can use wget/curl with socks proxy to download an rpm and rpm to install it.

Why use the "rpm" command ????

unless you KNOW for a 100% certainty that there are NO OTHER prerequisites needed use yum
