I get this when trying to instsall vlc on Centos 7 Package fdk-aac-0.1.4-1.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm is not signed.

Which repository are you trying to download from? Someone else may have a better suggestion but if necessary, you could try bypassing this check using the "--nogpgcheck" command mentioned here and here.

I also found another copy of the file in question here, although I don't know if it's signed or not.

How are you installing vlc? With YUM or direct rpm file?
