I started using Firefox at version 0.7. This was when I was still using Windows and I had not yet even considered the possibility of using Linux.
I have been using Firefox for so long that I just can not get used to using anything else.

I seem to be able to post a reply, but not to vote..

I prefer Chrome. FF comes second.

You need to have at least one post before you can vote in the polls. You should be able to vote as expected now.

I like dwb (another product of the Arch Linux community). Webkitgtk2 is not without its bugs, but those issues are inherent of all browsers based off of it. I don't mind configuring with a configuration file, but I really like dwb's in-browser settings. I think this is because it really lays out all the options right in front of me.

If any of you are vi[m] users looking for a fast light browser, give dwb a try! (If you use Arch Linux, there is a dwb-hg package in the AUR, though there is also a dwb package in the repos) It is a ~700KiB package, though that is not including the webkitgtk2 package it relies on.

dwb is a nice browser, but anything but light, it consumed far more RAM than Firefox on my systems. I don't call anything lightweight that eats up all of the RAM and half of the swap on a mchine with 2GB RAM and 4GB swap.

Yeah, for a while it had a pretty nice memory leak. But the last few hg pulls seem to have shown great improvments.

But you are right, even if it is a small binary, it kind of negates that advantage to have it sucking down all your available RAM.

Nice to hear, maybe I give it another try.

Been using Firefox since version 4 and now we are at 18.01 and only a year has gone by. :D Got to give them credit, they are constantly at work trying to make it better and you can't beat all the add-ons. :D

I'd like to recommend a new comer into the game. SlimBoat Web Browser . It opens much faster than firefox on ubuntu. I think it should be added into the list for voting.
