SOLVED Retroactively Install Kernel Sources in BSD 10.1

I have been playing about with BSD 10.1 in VirtualBox (one of the items on my bucket list to understand how to manually partition a drive using BSD terminology). I am, by the way, enjoying it and am quite impressed with the quality of the BSD Handbook.

I did not specify to install kernel sources during the initial load and am now regretting it. I would like to do so in order to get VB Guest Additions working.

I've found two links that seemed useful, but neither one helped at all:

This one was eight years old: http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/freebsd...l-source-code/

The other one referenced BSD v. 9.1 very specifically.

Would someone be so kind to point me in a useful direction?

Assuming you're referring to FreeBSD, use svn to get your own local copy of the src: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/svn.html

On disklabel/bsdlabel/qpart, etc: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.IS...titioning.html

Thanks.

I just found it the appendix of the handbook.
