Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

"pfSense software version 2.2.3 release is now available, bringing a number of bug fixes and some security updates. Security fixes: multiple XSS vulnerabilities in the pfSense WebGUI, the complete list of affected pages and fields is large and all are listed in the linked SA; multiple OpenSSL vulnerabilities (including Logjam). The bug fixes and changes in this release are detailed here. As always, you can upgrade from any previous version straight to 2.2.3. For those already running any 2.2x version, this is a low-risk upgrade. This is a high-priority upgrade for those using IPsec on 2.2x versions. For those on 2.1.x or earlier versions, there are a number of significant changes which may impact you. Pay close attention to the 2.2 upgrade notes for the details."
