This is the sixth time I've tried Frugalware, and the third occasion that I haven't even got the installation to work.

I tried a net install and a disk install. The net install got me a working CLI system, but after I installed the Xfce package I had a desktop with no text. The full install rebooted to a flashing screen: a faulty video driver. I couldnít switch to a virtual terminal, since as fast as I logged in, it restarted X.

The forum reveals that only 167 people have ever joined, and many have then said goodbye: Iím not surprised.
