Description: "Toorox 01.2013 'KDE' has been finished and you can download it as 32-bit or 64-bit image. This release is based on the latest Linux kernel 3.7.1. All packages have been updated. KDE has been updated to the latest version, 4.9.4. The release also contains X.Org Server 1.13.0, LibreOffice, Chromium 24.0.1312.45, VLC 2.0.5, WINE 1.5.20, GIMP 2.8.2. With this release, Toorox makes use of UUIDs instead of simple device names in the fstab file. So a ramdisk (initramfs) is now necessary after the installation for booting the system from hard disk. The hard disk installer has been enhanced as to that. Have fun with Toorox."
Keywords: Gentoo-based kernel-3.7.1 KDE UUID ramdisk

This is the third version of Toorox I've tried, and each has been worse than the last. This disk loads Toorox, but then presents me with a blank screen. I've tried various boot parameters, to no avail. And I canít even get to a virtual terminal to investigate. The only thing that works is Alt-PrtScr-B.

The forum has few members, although they at least have got it to work. There have only been three posts about Toorox in this forum, and one of those described a similar experience to mine. Rubbish-ware.
