For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Pros:
Great System for the PPC Powerbook
Cons:
Having problems with sound it will only play *.wav files, looking for fix
Yellow Dog Linux Ver. 4.0.1 is really A good distro. for use with you Apple Pc or Laptop.
With the reliability and stability that linux users have come to love Yellow Dog is great for Mac users to run a linux box now. i have only seen a few bugs so far but other than that it is a great running system.
one main draw back that i have seen is that on my Powerbook G3 Pismo is that there is a problem with the sound.
I have sofar only been able to play *.wav files it will not even play a cd,Mp3,wma or anyother types of sound. This is a major draw back for me, lol i am kind of a newb.
But i have to say that over all besides the few quirks on my machine, wich i will probaly be able to fix myself, overtime, that Yellow Dog Linux Version 4.0.1 is a good system with its ease of instalation, setup, and learning ability. for newbies and power users alike this is for you if you are running a mac but have the urge to try something a little different

Pros:
Nice install
Cons:
I'm just trying this out on a Mac G4 Sawtooth. Install seems to be going well so far. Very nice GUI install for the newbie. I'll probably post later to give more heads up on how it goes. I'm trying to setup a webserver.
