Zorin 16 Pro Touchpad Back to Front & Upside Down

Hi

Just installed Z16 Pro after paying for it, on an HP laptop
Mouse is upside down and does not relate to the place where it is on the screen - probably relates to a mirror image spot on the screen
No way to gauge where you are on the screen

Screen flips between landscape & Portrait when laptop moved.....

Is there a fix for this ?

Thanks

I should think so.
Don't you get support if you paid for it?
They would probably like to know more about your hardware first.

Sounds like a problem I had a couple of years back with Fedora gnome on a laptop with touch-screen. Turned out there was an icon in the top right (gnome) to toggle screen auto-rotate. Turned it off once I figured out whee the mouse was going, and that was the end of it. Stupid bug to let slip through.

And yes, I agree you should query the support people given you paid for the pro edition.

Yep

It was impossible for my brain to figure out where the mouse REALLY was, so I let it be

Turned it on yesterday, and it had fixed itself ????

So I was able to go to Activities Overview - search for Rotation - and up came a big arrow near the mid top of screen which said Lock Rotation, which I did

Phew
