My second post in Zorin OS about Zorin 9 - got kinda off-topic
 

My first post is in Linux-Distributions concerning "dist-upgrade" versus "upgrade" and my results from "dist-upgrade -f" which crashed the install twice. This activity was prompted because Zorin os 9 does not recognise USB headset and "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f" had been suggested as a fix for that one.
Well it sure did FIX the o/s. Just not the way anyone would find useful :-) So far it looks like the folks on this forum haven't run across this problem. So fingers crossed. Cheers
