How to install Zorin to a flashdrive so it can access prior data on it

I've created bootable FAT32 Zorin flash drives using Universal Installer: they run but Zorin cannot see any of the directories that were placed on the drive in Windows, though it accesses them if they are on a different, 2nd flash drive.
Why is this? Please tell me how to install Zorin on a FAT32 flash drive in a way such that it can properly see and access all directories and data files on the drive, not just its own 'Home' directory.
P.S. I prefer to use Zorin 9 or 11, faster than later versions for what I need to do, so I would appreciate instructions applicable for these versions.
Thank you very much

Using Zorin 9 creatively

Many people use Linux passively, just to view and read web data. What if you need to create data, or, access data that you have already created? It is a real problem to have to access that data on a 2nd flash drive while running Zorin from a 1st flash drive... I need to install Zorin 9 in such a way that I'll need only 1 flash drive to do my work, not 2 ... I've done it with other distros, it must be possible with Zorin as well?
Please help me do that...
Thank you!

Sound like you wanna make a persitent zorin usb with ntfs file support drivers.

On some Windows 10 laptops if not all as far as I know. You will have to disable hibernate on that Windows 10 gear to acess the files from a Linux usb. Google will be your friend on that issue.

For a zorin persistent usb drive.

Good Lick.

How to see ALL DATA, i.e. the FULL drive in a FAT32 Zorin Live USB, not just Zorin files?

Thanks for your reply. It is a bit confusing to me though, I see that my post was not understood.
As for data, I only use software that saves in generic formats that can be read in Linux, Android and Windows, so I'm not interested at all in NTFS format, I format my Linux flash drives in FAT32 so they can be read in Windows and Android as well as in Linux.

I have installed live distros like Puppy Linux and LSP with no problems, as well as some other distros that I can't remember right now, all with no persistence, and their File Manager can read the data on these Linux flash drives that was there before their Linux install or have been saved there since the install, while running their Linux distro or using another OS that saved data in generic formats onto that flash drive...
So I was sadly surprised to see that the Zorin 9 bootable flash drive I created has a file manager that does not see anyting on the drive besides the Zorin progran files and the files created in RAM (showing as "desktop"), though again, the drive is formatted as FAT32, an not partitioned.
I hope these details make my problem clearer: am I missing something, or is Zorin 9 not able to have on a live USB install, with or without persistence, a full-fledged file Manager that can see ALL the directories and files in this non-partitioned flash drive?

In the meantime, I'll take your suggestion to try and create it with persistence, I can't remember if I had tried that, though I seem to remember reading somewhere that Unetbootin can only install persistence on Unbuntu, not Zorin.

I perused though the links form your reply, it seems most of them address partitioning, or the issue of a full install, which I prefer not to do, as I find the live USB install works very fast and has sufficient capabilities for my use.
There was a post from these links which was exactly on point for me, except that it was about Zorin 5, and at that time the Zorin Group stated that the version was not capable of getting persistence as a live USB install, but improvements were on the way...

Simply talking, I should be able to see ALL data, i.e, the full drive, in a FAT32 Zorin Live USB, not just Zorin files and the new RAM data, as I can do with other distros... but if that is not possible, which USB installer currently, can install persistence on a Live USB install of Zorin 9 or 11?

Thank you

Pendrive Linux covers manual persistent live usb with a casper rw partition.

Is not Zorin based on Ubuntu? I do not know because I never ran it.

https://www.pendrivelinux.com/how-to...-rw-loop-file/

Since this is more Zorin specific. I will have to back out of here.
