Do you plan to use it in console or in graphic environment?

If you don't use KDE, Gnome, XFCE, etc. and you only do your work at the command line interface thats using the mouse in the console. Using it there and using it KDE are differnt as far Linux is concerned. You have to jump an extra hoop for the mouse when your not using X.

What graphic environment do you use? It's probably Gnome or KDE, but it can be something different.

Learning more English would probably help you the most. Then you can properly answer our questions to help you solve your problem.

I don't use a serial mouse and never have, but I think I understand what you're asking. The best I can offer is that you read the section here about serial mice.

You might have more luck at the Portuguese section of official Zenwalk forum (http://support.zenwalk.org/index.php/board,20.0.html. Then you shouldn't get smartarse remarks about your English.
