Killed error on Perl intalation

Ok I just filled out the massive amount of info needed to setup the Zenwalk system installation going fast a few programs thake a minute but nothings bad; then Perl comes up and it starts taking a while then in small red letters ant the bottom left corner comes a simple word "Killed" and from there on I'm in a useless command line eg I can type stuff in but nothing happens. Tried it twice same thing happend using graphical installation. Help... That was my last CD and I can't fined any other xfice distros that have a DVD boot option (how often do you have more DVDs than CDs?).........
