installing gnome soundconverter tar.gz on Zen 5.0

Hello,
I'm an old duffer and although I think I've asked a similar question before, I can't remember where I put the answer.
Would any one of you kind, technically competant people out there oblige me with the script to install this app? I'd be most grateful.

Read the INSTALL file in the tarball. If you don't know how to extract the files from the tarball, then you need to use "tar zxvf filename". Read the man page for tar to see what the options mean.

Thanks

Thank you for your advice, soundconverter is now up and running.
My appologies for the delay in replying, I'm a farmer and livestock takes priority over sofware.
