ide cdrom burning in zenwalk

hi.Im normally a Slackware user but thought I would give Zenwalk a try.Love it,but i cant burn a cd.Normally in slackware with 2.4 kernel i would append "hdc=ide-scsi" and change the permissions on the sg drivers. But zenwalk has a 2.6 kernel and I really dont know how to solve this issue.Im back with slack 10_2 until i can figure this out.

In the 2.6 kernels you don't need to use "hdc=ide-scsi". You can but I think its disabled in the 2.6 kernel for Zenwalk. I know when I updated my kernel to one of the 2.6 kernels in Slackware I disabled it.
