Graphical Configure Programs (netpkg, networkconfig.etc) Won't Close

helo, it seems that this site has become a slight ritual for me and zenwalk. when i open any of zenwalks graphical config programs such as netpkg, networkconfig, userconfig etc they a) don't work - on clicking on an option nothing happens, b) don't close and c) networkconfig starts up again every login. HELP, networkconfig is constantly on my screen!!!

Sometimes you have to click on "ok", exit don't validate (it's ~ cancel)

did you click on "exit" ? i don't have any problem here
try to run it from command line to check if there is any error/message

might be because XFCE save opened programs when a session is closed and restart them when login.

Are you using Zenwalk 3.0? The reason I ask is that I had a similar problem in the past but it doesn't seem to happen in 3.0, your question just reminded me about it. The problem was caused by a window opening up BEHIND the main window. It look as if netpkg (or whatever) had froze but actually it was waiting for you to press the ok button, which you can't see because it is hidden behind the window.

This is because you have the 'save settings on exit' selected in XFCE.
