Go to the forums and see if someone has already asked your question.

Might have something to do with the fact that this forum just opened up a few days ago (last Friday I think).

patman362 - nicely done. Post a thread in a forum dedicated to a distro to tell people to go somewhere else. Maybe (and this is just me casting out ideas) once the forum has been up and running for a while, the questions and answers will be at a level more to your liking?

Sorry if people didn't like me advertising what else is out there. I'm just trying to say that if they are having a hard time getting an answer that their are other options.

I personaly plan on checking both regularly.

My two cents follow.

I certainly appreciate getting an alternate forum if I can't find my answer. Thanks for the yoper post. I, too, will be frequenting both forums. And I'll even try to copy/paste back and forth to help users in both places. The beauty of linux is that it's OPEN. We all help each other, nobody is working on a monopoly or on keeping people away from good information. Let's all remember why we're using linux instead of Microsoft.

Keep up the informative work.
