Messaging Programs
I am trying to find and install a setup for both AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) and Yahoo! Messenger that works with Yoper v2 if someone could help me I would appreciate it greatly. I can't seem to get any working and if i knew how it would really brighten my day. Thanks.

If you want to try Gaim, just open a konsole or terminal window and type:
apt-get install gaim.

With the version of gaim from the apt i had problems because it conflict with the SDL-perl package.So i download the source of gaim and install it with the SDL-perl from the reposity

for yahoo messenger you need to download messenger.yahoo.com
then just rpm -i rh9.ymessenger-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm
you need the redhat 9 version
