Messaging Programs

I am trying to find and install a setup for both AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) and Yahoo! Messenger that works with Yoper v2 if someone could help me I would appreciate it greatly. I can't seem to get any working and if i knew how it would really brighten my day. Thanks.

If you want to try Gaim, just open a konsole or terminal window and type:

apt-get install gaim.

for yahoo messenger you need to download messenger.yahoo.com
then just rpm -i rh9.ymessenger-1.0.4-1.i386.rpm

you need the redhat 9 version
here is the direct link: http://download.yahoo.com/dl/unix/rh...0.4-1.i386.rpm
