Lost lp0

After dist-upgrade to Yoper 2.0 I loose my parallel port and printer. I do not find it listed anywhere in Control Center and can not reinstall printer. I have reinstalled 2.0 and selectively choose what I upgrade. I would like to do the dist-upgrade. Does anyone have a similar experience and how did you solve it?
