installing from knoppix
I've had trouble with every Yoper install I've tried, with random lockups always occurring. I'm using a laptop, so I'm not surprised that problems are cropping up. Only through sheer persistence of rebooting and trying the install again does it eventually finish. I downloaded the beta for 2.2 but it seems the hangups haven't stopped.
I heard that it's possible to install Yoper using a live cd (i.e. knoppix or kanotix) but can't find any postings or documentation on it. Anyone have an idea of how to do this?
