3.3.1 has been out for a few months.
3.3.2 is not a major release, just bug fixes mostly.

Yes i know... When 3.3.1 was out, i used Mandrake and upgraded from source, it took me almost 24 hours to compile a whole thing Now with Yoper it was the easiest install in my life.
By the way, does anyone know why there is no Noatun installed with kdemultimedia? And how can i get it if i want? It's not in repository too and i would like to try this app.

because we dont want a million different mp3 players in yoper. amarok is THE mp3 player to use. its got all the advantages of noatun. also, if you want to use noatun skins, there is a plugin for xmms that lets you use noatun skins. much better way of doing it IMO.

Hm... AmaroK is nice, but keeps crashing when building a collection and i can't figure out what's wrong.
This topic is went a completely offtop... What do you say about creating a Yoper group at Audioscrobbler? AmaroK supports it now. Maybe, i start a poll here on forum and let's see what people saying? Or just to create it and to post an announce? Or, maybe, it's not good idea?

there is a solution to amaroK.
first off, what version of yoper are you using? if you use 2.0, it wont work. just wait till 2.2 is out.
are you using amaroK 1.1 from apt or 1.2 from amaroks site? use the one from the reps because its made to work with yoper.
if you are using 2.1, make sure the engine is xine and not aRts. arts is a pretty crappy engine and crashes it in yoper.
and a yoper audioscrobbler group sounds cool.

Thanks man. I use Yoper 2.1 and latest AmaroK with xine engine. I just can't use the one from rep because of Audioscrobbler thing. Nevermind, i can live with it, it crashes only on collection build so i think it's a problem with my files (it didn't crashed before i added some). Maybe, my collection too big? It's about 65 gigs right now...
I'll create a group for Yoper on Audioscrobbler.

nuka_t, Is there a change log for the new release. Could you post some of the major improvments with the new release?
I am very happy with 2.1. The only complaint I have is with "Synaptic"
I remember reading a post some where that it will have experimental ATI driver support? Witch I think is great and will bring in alot more users to Yoper

im not too sure whats changing TBH. first off, there will be updated pacakges. duh.
ntfs support was planned, and implemented, but may not be there because of copyright issues. ive heard x.org is implemented, but again, not sure. and xorg will have better ati support if in fact it is done.
sorry i couldnt be more help, i should probably find out. no formal changelog was released so...
and BTW, in kde 3.3.2(coming soon, and in Y 2.2) the arts bug with crashing while listening to crappy mp3's is fixed.

yoper.com has been unreachable since yesterday. I guess that this could be a good sign or a bad one. Good, if it down because of the server change out and bad if it related to a downward spiral of Yoper (coming to an end). Hopefully it is because they took the old server down and are in the process of getting the new server up I want my Yoper 2.2. On another note Xandros 3 is out now, I may have to look at it again.

You can install Yoper from an existing linux distro, without having to burn an iso if you like.
