If Sax doesnt start you can manually edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config file.
If you don't know how to do it, run Knoppix or any other live CD distro and
copy the file from it to your Yoper disk. It should work.
and you don't need SaX.

Talking Change Configuration Button sax2.

Hi: I am Newb yoper user and i had the same message. I finally figured out what the problem was.... after about 8 hrs of trying to get it to work and getting the same message. i decided to try changing my onboard network card to a Realtek 8129/8139, driver name in recent kernel ( 8139too ) installed perfect but i also was doing a Fresh install in which i only partitioned my HD to use linux .. dont know if that makes a difference or not but i do know my onboard Nic was not supported (sis )! Try changing out your Ethernet Card :-) worked for me good luck!

Try running
Code:
XFree86 -configure
or
Code:
xf86cfg
or if you can handle a text based setup
Code:
xf86config

Steve.

I did a search over on the Yoper.com forum and found the answer is:

sax2 -r

i dont know what to do with it tho. where can i type that? ihave no command prompt, just the repeating message. I've got bettix live so i may try the compying files as descriebe above but i'd prefer a solution that i dont need to mess with files i dont understand
thanks for info already posted tho
