Any one with 2.2.0.6 Pre-release exp?

Has anyone tried new yoper 2.2.06 (pre-release version) ?

Bit torrent - iso install bombs out after and doesn't finish install.
So I downloaded full iso image .. I can install but the install is useless ..
I am doing it on a hardware where I have installed Debian/FC2/FC3/suse 9.1/9.2/Mandrak 10.1 and host of others.

The problems I have -

Network install fails miserably, it enables 1 out of the 2 ports I have and fails to get IP add
from the DHCP server (one of the miserable things it does is .. to assume a name yos)
when I try to run the "network card configuration" .. and I try to select DHCP server for the
IP configuration .. the window quits and nothing changes ..
Unlike other distro's .. it doesn't have ifup/ifdown scripts .. just ifconfig .. and that appears
to be broken.
I tried clikcing some other "setups" .. just for laughs like ADSL PPPOE .. these things just hang !!!

It also refuses to let my display be anything other than 1024x768 .. and fails to detect
audio .. in short a major sucky situation.

I understand this is a pre-release, but I had hoped for better functionality than this..
It appears to be very broken, may be earlier releases were better, but I am now hesitant to waste any time to try those.

Does anyone else have better experience with this relese ?

I havent tried 2.2 yet, i keep meaning to. 2.1 didnt have any of those problems... not sure about ifup / ifdown scripts, never use them anyway, but i didnt really have any networking problem. One thing to be carful of is that it resets the machine name to yos whenever you use any of the network config tools... this can knack a few things if you dont watch out... it can be easily rectified by editing the conf file tho

Try 2.1, as you said, 2,2 is pre-release and therefore not stable
