ADSL Speedtouch USB

Hi,

I tried to connect my ADSL SpeedTouch USB modem so I can connect to the internet.

I have an nVidia NFORCE2 chipset.

I am using Yoper.

What I tried is downloading ( at my windows box ) the rpms for the newest kernel (installed without a problem), and the rpm titled 'speedtouch-1.3-1'... Which seemed to be installed already.

Then I tried using adsl-setup/start/stop, downloaded a tool from sourceforge called speedtouch-setup/start/stop. Then I came upon a page which seemed to be a very nice faq and followed it step by step...

Tried again... Nothing...

So I cannot connect to the internet from my Linux box . Is there someone here who can give me a little aid?

Thanks!
