New Vector Version--when?

I've really enjoyed using Vector Linux 6.0 (Standard edition) for awhile now. I know that the other distros seem to be scheduled for new releases this coming Spring (and summer). Will Vector Linux be coming out with a new release as well? I'm looking forward to that, and would love to know when. I hear a lot of good things about the SoHo edition as well ("Small-office-Home-office"). Does that come with the Xfce desktop on the CD (or is that KDE only?).

You can find a lot of information on the VectorLinux development site. They have not set a date for the next major release 7.0 (see the roadmap). You can find also a list of the packages included in the next SOHO edition, here. It looks like it is actually a KDE edition and there's no plan to include Xfce.

colucix...
thanks a lot for those links! I may just stick with the Standard version (instead of SoHo). I prefer the smaller DE,...and really, the standard version (with Xfce and Lxde) includes most of the apps I usually use everyday, and has all the necessary codecs to run OOTB. Still,..I wish the SOHO edition would include a smaller DE on the install disc. (Because, I'm on dialup, but I would like the larger office apps, as well as a smaller DE. It would kind of be a PITA to download something like the OpenOffice suite on the Standard edition.) Still,...I guess I could give that a try.
