Did I mention VectorLinux 4.0 SOHO rocks?

I have had yet another linux convert after seeing my home pc running VectorLinux SOHO 4.0. My friend had seen RedHat 7.0 and thought that all Linux was the same. He saw my VL setup and asked me what version of windows I was running.

The KDE 3.2 is extremely impressive to people that have never used Linux before.

Anyway, once I ran K3b, Xmms and Xine and explained that they were included on the CD as was Openoffice 1.1.1, GTKAM (configured to work with all users out of the box) 3 dozen games and several other programs that he would have to buy to use in Windows, he was ready to try it on his own PC. I'll be setting it up and getting him started once RC2 come out in a few days.

Chalk up another convert
