Xubuntu 9.04 and "network service discovery disabled" message

So I keep getting this message every time I login, any idea how to make this stop?

These threads are a bit old, so I am not sure if they apply. See if the solution posted in them helps:
I use Ubuntu, not Xubuntu, so I can't verify this for myself.
