Xfce panels pop up in kubuntu?


So i was using xubuntu then i log out launch a different session
in kubuntu when two lines appeared above my two kde panels.
I thought this strange at first. Then later on i clicked both of
These lines and both of my xfce panels appeared.This seemed really strange considering i was still in Kubuntu.Can anyone tell my why this occured?

Probably the xfce4-panel executable was saved as an autostart program. You can also start the KDE kicker in XFce4. Mix and match desktop environments as you like.

What version of KDE are you running? Version 4.x have panels that can be made to appear where you describe them. I have XFCE on my system as well, have never seen an XFCE panel suddenly appear in KDE.


If you can make it happen, use Ksnapshot, take a picture of it, and post it. Hard to know for sure from your description if this is a XFCE panel or a KDE panel.
