x86 Live CD boot error

I insert the x86 live boot CD to install the O/S, and just after it loads the Kernel, the following error appears and booting halts:
Code:
4294671.209000 MP-BIOS bug:8254 timer not connected to IO - APIC
Can anybody help?
(Also, the AMD64 boot CD works fine)
EDIT: Is there any way that I can install the x86 version once inside the x86_64 environment?

Problem solved thanks to another thread - I wrote down the wrong error code initially.
