X11 fuzzy login screen

Hi guys i just got the Kubuntu 5.04 linux the other day and i went ,
to install it installed fine and i did a reboot after the installation and
it booted through all the detection of the hdd and cdroms, and all that
and it went to boot into the login screen but just come up with a fuzzy screen
where i could move my mouse but i could not login or do anything ,i was just wondering if anyone has any ideas .

i have a radon 9200 card so could that be the problem to high tech linux for my card ?

fuzzy screen

Hi, coud you post you xorg.conf please, and your monitor please.
did you run dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg on a terminal
