wireless keyboard and boot prompt

It has been a while since I have had a linux distro running. Just used wubi installer, and things went very smoothly. One big problem; when the PC boots up, and I get to the prompt to select an OS, my wireless keyboard won't work. I have to have a keyboard plugged into the keyboard connection. Once I am beyond that point, the wireless works fine.

Is there any chance this will be an easy fix?

Thanks for any help.

You may be able to fix this if you go into your motherboard BIOS/CMOS settings. See if there is a setting for USB legacy. I enabled that and the problem was fixed for me.

Thanks a lot! Not sure why it was not enabled, but in this BIOS there was a usb Keyboard, and usb mice box that I had to set to enabled.

It was as easy fix thanks to you. Much appreciated.
