It is unlikely you will get wireless cards running via the live CD. Usually you need the driver for your card and ndiswrapper. (Someone correct me: if the CD has ndiswrapper, and the driver is available via a mounted, writable, partition - then it is concevable that the wireless card will work in the usual way.)
