Winows user finally "gets it." Drivers howto with LKMs
Hi All,
I'm new to linux and have been trying to wrap my brain around how to deal with drivers (install/remove). In windows, you just download the driver and double-click the executable- easy enough. I have been confused to say the least as to how this is done with linux. The following article gave me a good, basic understanding of loadable kernel modules and I recommend taking a look at it if you're new to drivers in linux as well:
