You only can do this if you reformat your partition to FAT32. Or you can format it to ext2 and use it from both windows and linux with direct read-write access. You can do this with this small app:

It must be installed in windows, than choose your ext2 partition with the configurer app, and voila: you can read-write your ext2 partition from windows, just as NTFS or FAT32 partition. It will have an own drive letter, will appear in the windows file manager, etc... Just as the other windows partitions. Cool isn't it?
EDIT: I tried it myself too, and it really works.
