Wifi is not connected


I installed ubuntu in my laptop. I cant able to use wifi in my laptop. Tell me how to configure the wifi in my laptop. My laptop model is aspiro 5378 (Acer).

you should tell what wlan interface you have.
some wlan interfaces like zdyas install automatical and are not very expensive.

I have the same problem. I run Ylmf OS 3.0 from USB. All is fine, but the system do not see my WiFi device. I run Ylmf OS 3.0 on HP Compaq nx6310, which has build-in WiFi - Broadcom BCM 4311. Could anybody advice me?

it's a common problem, have you tried checking online tutorials?

okey, the most easy solution is to buy zdyas adapter that work out of the box on ubuntu

If I am not wrong, Zydas is chipset, not adapter. Could you please advise which adapter would be most suitable?

the one with zydas chipset work out of the box (ubuntu and puppy tested)
