WiFi installation in Ubuntu

I have a toshiba tecra-s1 which uses "intel pro wireless 2100 lan 3b mini pci adapter driver". I was wondering if my wireless might work in Ubuntu. I tried mandriva before but my wireless did not work in there...I was plannin to use Fedora Core 5, but then someone told me that it is a heavy OS and since I will be dual booting it might slow the system down.
I am a novice at linux or you can say at computers...so if the wireless card can be configured, please let me know.
Thanx

Try http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net/ which I haven't personally used. If that doesn't work for you use ndiswrapper and the Windows driver for that card.
