Why will my second hard drive not appear

I installed Umbuntu today on my pc (which was previously winXp)
I did the auto format. It replaced the Xp.

I booted up the newly installed Umbuntu, my slave hard drive is nowhere to be seen!
How do I access it?

Can you paste the output of fdisk -l from the terminal?

# fdisk -l

Note its the letter "l" after the - above & not the number 1.

Follow these directions:
http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/mountwindows

The only difference is that yours is /dev/hdb1 instead of /dev/hda1.
