Why Ubunto latest version only 600MB?

Other distrib takes much more, maybe it comes on the Sata/driver support/network support?

Do you think Ubunto is support good drivers and those kind of stuff that gives me a headache?
Please answer me fast, since I want to download Ubunto but i'm not sure :S

Thanks guys.

ubuntu is a great beginner/easier distro. it usually can detect most hardware and make it work just fine.
best thing to do is try it yourself.

and LQ.org users will answer your thread as fast/slow as they would like

I believe that's just the install disk. The rest is downloaded like during a Debian net install.

Sorry for my rude post. thanks anyways while I hope you'll forgive me.

You were not rude. I was far ruder than you were.

You just need to be a little more specific. People do not generally have time to play 20 questions with someone until they figure out what exactly the OP's problem is.

As far as the "answer me fast" thing - this is generally bad form and will cause the people with the most experience to ignore you. Not what I expect you want to happen.

No distro is perfect and experiences vary between hardware, but in my experience with Ubuntu 5.10 on my hp ze4560us lappy it detected video, sound etc without barely any of my input. Wireless took a bit to set up because it seems my internal card is broadcom based and needed a little extra tweaking. Other than that I would highly recommend it.
