Which ISO is suitable for this test

Hi all,

I want to follow below article;
How To Install Elasticsearch on an Ubuntu VPS
https://www.digitalocean.com/communi...-an-ubuntu-vps

installing Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana 4 on Ubuntu 14.04 VPS running on the VM of Oracle VirturalBox.

Host Ubuntu 14.04 desktop

Please advise whether following ISO will be suitable for this test?

http://releases.ubuntu.com/14.04/
ubuntu-14.04.2-server-amd64.iso
OR
ubuntu-14.04.2-server-amd64.iso.torrent.

I expect keeping the Host clean only for running VirtualBox

Thanks in advance.

Regards
satimis

The first iso is a direct download (http).

The second iso is a torrent download (with a torrent program).

Both downloads result in the same iso image.

Hi,

Thanks for your advice. Whether I need a desktop ISO for this test?

Server does not, IIRC. It may very well be an LTS of the Server release, but LTS and "Live Environment" are not synonymous.
