where is the keyring manager on ubuntu 13.04
Hi !
I have a encrypted partition which is mounted by nautilus when I click on the proper device on the left panel. When I do that it ask me the pass-phrase and it give an option to forgot it immediately or to use it until the end of session or forever. Usually I choose "forgot immediately", but last week I made a mistake and choose the option to store the password forever. Now The encrypted partition can be open with a single click on it. No passwords are asked anymore. I want change it. I want the pass-phrase would be asked again every time I open the encrypted partition. How to do that ? I have a lot of passwords saved in the keyring, so removing "~/.local/share/keyrings/login.keyring" is not an option. thanks in advance for any ideas, |
Press the Dash icon, the top left icon. Type in the search string "key" or "pass" and see if you get a hit. If you do, you should see a keyring icon with the words "Passwords and Keys". If not, go to the Ubuntu Software Center and enter "seahorse" to initiate a search, as that is the program manager for the passwords. You should see the words "Passwords and Keys". That's the extent of my knowledge.
