Question website logging for Gutsy

My kid uses my Ubuntu PC for the internet, but keeps deleting all the website history when he is finished. I am curious why.

Does anyone know of a good logging application that will let me see what websites he was on, even after he clears all the history?

Normally you'd just set up a proxy on a gateway between your home network and the internet - these things have activity logs.
