Virtual Box USB Access

Can someone please tell me which version of Virtual Box comes with usb access? I thought it was the binary version but after I I put the group ID number for usbfs into the Virtual Box users group I'm still unable to mount a usb device in the guest operating system. It shows the device in the menu but its grayed out.

I have seen there too. And downloaded the "closed" version and USB does NOT work in Ubuntu 7.10 with a Windoze XP guest.

Ken

p.s. It DOES work in VMWare. Parallels caused all manner of issues on my system. Sort of points to the way I need to go.
